Henderson Semi-Trailer Truck Crashes
This year, the Nevada Department of Transportation released figures revealing that there were more than 49,000 incidents involving motor vehicles throughout the Silver State. When it comes to crashes involving tractor-trailers and other large vehicles, the figures are even worse. Over the course of a single year, fatal truck accidents accounted for close to 10% of all traffic deaths in Nevada.
This is particularly true on freeways and the long desert-bound routes that link Las Vegas to Henderson, Reno, and beyond. Because of this, persons who have been wounded in tragic occurrences around the state, as well as their families, are in a difficult position.
Truck accident victims often confront major financial hurdles that make it difficult to come back to normal life after long-term medical problems and long-lasting emotional anguish. Family members who lose loved ones in accidents are often forced to shoulder the financial burden of expensive medical treatment and burial costs.
