Injuries in Las Vegas Car Crashes
According to authorities and traffic analysts from the state of Nevada, drivers under the influence of alcohol or drugs are responsible for a significant number of fatal accidents involving cars going the wrong way on the road or colliding head-on with other vehicles.
As a direct result of impaired driving, the number of individuals killed or badly injured in traffic accidents in Nevada last year reached a level that had not been seen in almost 15 years. To make matters even worse, there have already been more than twice as many deadly car accidents in Nevada this year in comparison to the same time period in the year 2020.
During this time period, there were over 36 accidents that took place in the state, and over 33 people lost their lives as a result. Since the beginning of the year 2021, there have been more than a hundred collisions in Clark County, each of which has resulted in more than a hundred deaths. This reflects a growth of more than 43% from the beginning of the year till the current time. Therefore, it really shouldn’t come as much of a surprise to find out that Nevada has one of the highest rates of fatal car accidents per population of any state in the whole United States. When a victim dies as a direct consequence of one of these situations, the people who were closest to them are often placed in a position that is incredibly precarious.
