Injury Vehicle Accidents in the State of Nevada
Nevada has seen thousands of deadly accidents in the past year alone, and the majority of them were caused by drunk or drugged drivers, according to state police.
In Nevada, over 400 individuals died in drunk driving-related incidents last year, the highest rate in 14 years. Even worse, the number of fatal accidents in May of last year increased by over 110% when compared to the same month in 2020. Additionally, between January and May of 2021, there were over 100 crashes in Clark County, resulting in over 100 fatalities.
More than 30,000 Americans are killed in vehicle accidents each year, according to NHTSA numbers released only a few months ago, a sobering statistic. Even worse, these sorts of catastrophic crashes and their accompanying repercussions are widespread in Las Vegas since Nevada is among the states where fatal vehicle accidents occur the most often.
