Las Vegas, NV (May 4, 2022) – A multi-vehicle wreck reported on Wednesday, May 4, resulted in an unknown number of injuries in the Las Vegas area.
Just before 8:00 a.m., the Las Vegas Metro Police Department, in conjunction with emergency medical services, responded to the scene of the auto accident on westbound Lake Mead Boulevard at Pecos Road. EMS crews rushed to the scene and took one victim to a local medical center, though the total number of victims and the extent of their injuries remain unclear.
The road was shut down completely for more than an hour while police collected evidence and cleared the scene. The cause of the crash is also still under investigation by the police, however, with further details slated for release in the next week.
Our thoughts are with the victims who were injured in this accident. We hope for their full recovery.
