Injuries Reported in Las Vegas Hit-and-Run Wrecks

Las Vegas, NV - Injuries Reported in Hit-and-Run on Las Vegas Blvd at Tropicana AveUnfortunately, hit-and-run drivers are involved in a sizable number of traffic accidents that take place in the Silver State. In fact, according to a recent study, the state of Nevada has one of the highest rates of deadly hit-and-run incidents in the whole country.

The latest AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety research further indicates that more than one hit-and-run accident occurs on American highways every minute, making Nevada’s rate of these crashes particularly grim.

In 2016, there were about  2,050 deaths as a result of these incidents, the highest number ever recorded and a more than 60% increase since 2009. Victims of such catastrophic vehicle accidents may face enormous financial hardships, overwhelming physical pain and suffering, and profound emotional anguish as a direct result. Furthermore, if the individual responsible for the accident flees the scene without offering aid or information to the victim, the victim may not know where to go for help, making the situation even more difficult.
