Las Vegas, NV – Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash at Rainbow Blvd & Yorktown Rd

Las Vegas, NV (June 13, 2022) – On Sunday night, June 12, a 45-year-old motorcyclist died after being struck by a vehicle. The collision occurred on North Rainbow Boulevard, just south of Yorktown Road, at around 10:45 p.m.

Police report that the motorcyclist was traveling southbound on a 2015 Kawasaki Ninja when another driver, identified only as a 31-year-old woman, traveling in the opposite direction and in a 2017 Chevrolet Malibu started to turn left, crossing the path of the motorcycle. The collision threw the motorcyclist off his bike, causing him to sustain critical injuries.

The man was rushed to University Medical Center, where his condition remained critical. On Monday, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead, according to authorities. The investigation remains active at this time, and it’s unclear if citations or charges will be filed against the other motorist.
