The driver who was involved in the first collision, according to Las Vegas Metro Police, has been detained on suspicion of DUI. Two people were taken to nearby hospitals, however, the police said that their injuries were not thought to be serious or life-threatening. Around 6:00 p.m. saw the reopening of all lanes, according to a tweet from Las Vegas police. Per authorities, the collision happened at about 5:05 p.m.
