Las Vegas, NV (June 27, 2022) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is currently conducting an investigation into an accident that occurred early on Monday, June 27.
Monday about 10:20 a.m., a multiple-vehicle incident occurred on southbound I-15 before Sahara Avenue, generating roughly one mile of stop-and-go traffic. Evidently, at least two vehicles were approaching the exit when the leading driver slowed down, resulting in a rear-end collision. One of the injured victims was subsequently transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital.
Medical staff and emergency services have not divulged the victim’s present status, and the overall number of casualties remains unknown. Authorities are still attempting to determine precisely what occurred before the collision, but no other details have been made public.
