Accidents Involving 18-Wheeler Trucks in Nevada
When compared to 1975, the year in which fatal accident data was initially collected, the number of fatalities that occurred among vehicle occupants per truck mile traveled has decreased, reduced to around 684 from nearly 915.
However, with respect to the most recent data available on traffic in the Silver State, commercial vehicles, such as huge tractor-trailers, sizable metro-area buses, and other similarly large vehicles, contributed to nearly 360,000 collisions countrywide in just one single year. As a direct consequence of this, almost 4,600 individuals lost their lives, while another 106,000 were severely hurt.
The state of Nevada is unfortunately home to an alarmingly high number of semi-trailer accidents, particularly in densely-populated locales like Sparks, Henderson, and Las Vegas, which include a number of major thoroughfares: U.S. Highway 95, I-15, U.S. Highway 93, I-515, and beyond.
If you are involved in a collision with a driver operating an oversized semi-trailer, you may suffer major bodily injuries, substantial mental suffering and trauma, and devastating financial repercussions.
