Nevada Car Crash Injuries

Las Vegas, NV - Rear-End Collision on 215 S Bltwy at I-15 Leaves Victims Hurt In the last few months, officials from the Nevada Department of Public Safety revealed monthly and year-to-date crash information for each county. Their latest information showed that crash rates increased by over 85% in May alone, with fatalities increasing by about 110% during the same month.

Next to the same time period in the previous year, the number of people killed in car accidents in Nevada has more than quadrupled. Furthermore, over 100 collisions have occurred in Clark County since the beginning of the year, resulting in at least 100 deaths.

This means a year-over-year surge of more than 40%. Sadly, it is undeniable that serious car accidents are all too prevalent in Nevada. These collisions occur even more often in busy metro regions, including Reno, Las Vegas, Carson City, and beyond. Unfortunately, the victims who are involved in these often-preventable collisions frequently face financial hardships, major injuries and long-term physical problems, and persisting mental distress.

And if your loved one passes away in an accident that’s caused by a negligent or reckless driver, state law in Nevada allows family members, generally next of kin to victims, to file a wrongful death lawsuit in pursuit of their fair, full financial compensation. In addition to paying for hospital bills and the like, the liable party may also provide monies to cover the costs associated with funerals, loss of companionship, lost wages, loss of potential income, and more. For these reasons, victims and the families affected by these accidents should get into contact with a skilled attorney right away.
