Las Vegas, NV (May 5, 2022) – An auto accident that resulted in a number of victim injuries was reported in Las Vegas on Thursday morning, May 5.
At around 8:30 a.m., Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officers were dispatched, along with emergency medical services and fire rescue crews, to the site of the wreck. Authorities say the crash took place on southbound Valley View Boulevard, close to U.S. Highway 95.
According to initial details gathered at the scene, the incident involved two passenger vehicles colliding in a rear-end wreck. Although the overall number of injured people and the degree of their injuries are unknown, EMT staff transferred at least one person to a local medical center. Officers are still looking into what caused the accident, however, and have not given further details.
