Officers responded at 10:25 a.m. on the northbound side of Interstate 15 at Exit 39 to Spring Mountain Road to investigate a multiple-vehicle accident. According to preliminary police reports, two automobiles collided in a rear-end collision or fender bender, and at least one of the victims, a passenger, was taken to a local medical facility by ambulance.
