A two-vehicle collision happened in the left lanes of southbound I-15 at Exit 40 to Sahara Avenue around 1:25 p.m., resulting in stop-and-go traffic all the way back to Charleston Boulevard. The event happened when two automobiles were attempting to change lanes, resulting in a chain-reaction or side-swipe accident, according to early reports, and one individual was brought to a local medical facility by ambulance.
