Las Vegas, NV (December 22, 2021) – Authorities identified 69-year-old Catherine David as the woman who died in a multi-vehicle accident that happened Monday, December 20, on Silverado Ranch Boulevard.
The fatal hit-and-run accident took place around 6:30 a.m. at Crisman Ridge Street.
According to initial investigation reports, the driver of a green 2002 Chevrolet pickup truck was traveling eastbound and turned left into the path of a gray 1998 Infinity Q45T, resulting in the accident. A loose gas can was thrown into the windshield of a blue 2001 Ford Mustang due to the collision’s impact.
Medics rushed the Infinity driver and their passenger, now identified as Catherine David, to University Medical Center. David later succumbed to her injuries. The Infinity driver sustained only minor injuries in the accident, and the driver of the Mustang was not hurt.
The suspect in the incident, the driver of the pickup truck, fled from the scene on foot. Officers said the suspect, an adult male, was last seen wearing a brown jacket and blue jeans.
No other details have been made available, though the investigation remains active. Police asked any witnesses or any other person with information to contact them directly.
Our deepest condolences go out to the family of Catherine David. Our thoughts are with all injured victims in hopes of their full recovery.
