Summerlin, NV (July 7, 2022) – On Thursday afternoon, July 7th, authorities responded to a fatal collision in Summerlin.

The crash was reported at 1:15 p.m. between Crestdale Lane and Trailwood Drive, near Anasazi Drive and Summerlin Parkway, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police. Investigators suspect the 2007 Hyundai Azera was traveling west on Crestdale when, for unclear reasons, it collided with the driver’s side of a Mercedes Benz GLE350 that was turning left off Trailwood.

The driver of the Hyundai was named only as a 53-year-old woman from Las Vegas, and she was pronounced dead upon arrival at UMC. According to police, the driver of the Mercedes was also sent to UMC with significant injuries, though her current condition is unknown. There are no new facts available about the accident at this time, as the inquiry is still ongoing.
