Las Vegas, NV (May 16, 2022) – Officers from the Las Vegas Metro Police Department reported that on the evening of Monday, May 16, there was a major wreck in which a motorist hit another vehicle and then fled the scene, resulting in injuries to at least one person.

At about 9:55 p.m., emergency crews arrived on the scene at the intersection of westbound Buffalo Drive and West Wigwam Avenue to assist with the incident. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has said that two to three motorists were involved in the collision, with one driver leaving the scene without stopping.

One patient required more extensive care for their injuries, so they were sent by ambulance to a neighboring medical institution for further evaluation. There is currently no information available on the actual number of individuals injured in the accident.
