Las Vegas, NV (May 3, 2022) – Authorities reported that Las Vegas Councilwoman Michele Fiore was hospitalized after a car accident took place on Monday night, May 2.

Fiore was transported to UMC Trauma for emergency treatment, bloodwork, and a CAT Scan but was released on Tuesday morning, according to a statement provided by her team.

The multi-vehicle crash happened around 9:15 p.m. at Centennial Parkway and Tenaya Way, officers added. Fiore was driving alone in her vehicle when the wreck occurred, with one other vehicle involved in the incident. Per information from the scene, she sustained a concussion, several broken bones, and bruises.

It’s unclear if anyone else traveling in the other vehicle sustained injuries in the collision. The events leading up to the crash remain unclear, but an investigation into the cause of the collision is underway.
