Traffic Accident Injuries Occurring in Las Vegas
According to official predictions, 420 Nevadans will have died in automobile accidents by the end of 2021. In the last fifteen years, 2021 will be the deadliest year on the streets of our state. What’s more, the death rate has climbed by more than 80% since the year 2020, with intoxication and speeding on the part of at-fault motorists being the leading reasons for these fatal incidents. Plus, the bulk of the fatalities and injuries happened in Clark County, where over 230 people were killed and many more were wounded in the prior year alone.
Without a question, Nevada has a disproportionately high number of accidents involving motor vehicles, and a significant percentage of these incidents have grave consequences for the victims and their families. Needless to say, a large number of vehicles and people are engaged in traffic accidents in Las Vegas, Carson City, and Reno, among other locations in Nevada.
Those impacted by such tragedies may have to deal with long-term health challenges, as well as financial difficulties and chronic discomfort and pain associated with their injuries. In the aftermath of these horrible occurrences, grieving families may find themselves in a tough, if not impossible, position when their loved one succumbs to their injuries. High medical and burial expenses, together with the emotional and financial hardships of losing a loved one, may prevent a bereaved family from getting back on their feet.
