Las Vegas, NV – Multi-Vehicle Wreck, Injuries on 215 S Bltwy at Windmill Ln
Las Vegas, NV (May 9, 2022) – On Monday, May 9, at least one person was hurt in a collision occurring in the greater Las Vegas area.
The Las Vegas Metro Police, as well as Las Vegas EMS and fire crews, arrived at the site of the accident at 3:00 p.m. Authorities say the multiple-vehicle wreck happened as two drivers were approaching the Windmill Lane exit on the eastbound 215 Southern Beltway, causing traffic to back up to Warm Springs Road and Exit 9.
The LVMPD first reported that the incident involved only these two vehicles, however, investigators did not provide any details about the circumstances preceding the collision or its cause. The overall number of injured people and the degree of their injuries are also unknown.
Authorities are still investigating the crash’s cause, and more information will be disclosed in the following days.
