Las Vegas, NV (August 8, 2022) – In the southwest valley on Monday afternoon, a huge accident closed the junction at the westbound Jones Boulevard exit and the 215 Beltway.

An ambulance was responding to a call on Jones when a tractor-trailer was leaving the 215. The ambulance struck the semi as the semi’s green signal turned on. Three workers were transported to University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. RTC reported the incident just after 1:00 p.m.

At the crossroads, traffic cameras captured what seemed to be a semi-truck turning on its side. It is being determined if the ambulance was to blame for this mishap.
