Nevada’s Rate of Serious Auto Accidents
Head-on collisions between automobiles increase the already high likelihood of serious injury or death. This becomes even more important if an automobile is coming from the opposite direction. Injuries would vary in nature and degree depending on factors including impact velocity, mass, and severity.
Most of these terrible accidents in Nevada can be traced back to careless drivers going the wrong way on the road or to other preventable causes:
- Possible soft tissue injuries, such as concussions, spinal cord damage, and whiplash.
- Broken or fractured bones.
- Disfigurement due to scarring or burns that are permanent.
Traumatic injuries that last for the rest of a person’s life are common in the aftermath of such disasters. When an automobile accident occurs due to the carelessness of another motorist, the injured party should seek legal advice without delay. Waiting too long after a financial loss to file a claim could make it more difficult to recover any lost funds.
