Henderson, NV (April 27, 2022) – Officers with the Henderson Police Department are investigating a serious pedestrian crash that occurred on Tuesday morning, April 26.

Per initial information from the scene, a juvenile student suffered injuries after getting hit by a vehicle in the area of Carnegie Street and Paseo Verde Parkway around 7:00 a.m. Responding officers say the victim was taken to an area medical center but is expected to recover.

Officials believe that speed and impairment were not involved in the collision, though a citation was reportedly issued to the driver of the involved vehicle. No other details are immediately available, but the HPD’s investigation is ongoing at this time.
