Las Vegas, NV (June 11, 2022) – According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, one person was hurt in a major hit-and-run incident near downtown Las Vegas on Saturday evening, June 11.

One driver is said to have hit another automobile before leaving the scene. The incident reportedly took place at the corner of eastbound Tropicana Avenue/Highway 593 and Koval Lane. Emergency responders and medics from Las Vegas arrived at the scene at 7:45 p.m. and began helping the victims. Two or three drivers were involved in the crash, according to the LVMPD, and one of them left the site of the accident before police arrived. One of the drivers or passengers, according to authorities, needed emergency medical attention and was sent to a local medical facility by ambulance.
