Las Vegas, NV (September 12, 2022) – According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, a motorcyclist was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Monday, September 12th.

It happened before 5:00 p.m. at the crossroads of South Decatur Boulevard and Doe Avenue this afternoon. A Chevrolet driver’s left-hand turn into the path of the motorcycle reportedly resulted in the accident. The driver, according to investigators, stayed at the site, where the rider was also pronounced dead a short time later by EMTs.

This is the 100th traffic-related fatality this year, per statements released by the LVMPD. The collision is currently under investigation by the Las Vegas Police Department, but no new information has been provided.
