Injuries in Las Vegas Apartment Fires
In 2020 alone, authorities in Nevada recorded more than twenty deadly home fires. In addition, the national average for 2019 was around three fatalities and ten injuries per one thousand fires. Deaths and injuries caused by commercial fires, as well as other burn injuries, are infrequent but devastating for those impacted. When a victim is exposed to very hot flames, caustic or acidic substances, and great heat, severe burns may develop.
In addition to being brutally painful, these injuries may also result in lasting abnormalities and costly medical treatments, such as skin grafts and associated operations. Those impacted by these events usually face financial devastation, terrible injuries, and long-term mental suffering.
When victims die as a result of injuries incurred in a fire, their families may be placed in a very stressful and unpleasant position. While grieving the sudden death of a loved one, families are frequently faced with exorbitant medical fees and funeral and burial costs.
