Fatal Motorcycle Accidents Reported in Las Vegas
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, there will be 17 motorcycle accidents for every 100,000 people in the United States this year. A motorcyclist is more likely to suffer fatal or life-altering injuries in a collision than a passenger car or truck driver. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and municipal governments in Nevada report that over 75% of motorcyclists who were killed in accidents died as a direct consequence of their injuries.
Motorcycle fatalities in Clark County have spiked dramatically this year. The number of motorcycle fatalities in late summer was four more than what was reported in July by the Department of Public Safety. There were roughly 30 motorcyclist deaths in Clark County in 2022, up 25% from the year before. During one year, 45 motorcyclists lost their lives in Nevada. It’s true that motorcycling is an exciting hobby, but it’s also quite dangerous. The victims and their families are profoundly affected by the unfortunate circumstances that led to these occurrences. It will be difficult for anyone affected financially, much alone emotionally, to recover from this. Those who suffer losses in these catastrophes will undoubtedly be put in difficult and unpleasant situations. High medical and burial expenses are typically passed on to loved ones. After a motorcycle accident that caused you bodily harm or the death of a loved one, you may be entitled to file a lawsuit seeking compensation.
