Las Vegas, NV (May 4, 2022) – Las Vegas Metro Police Department officers are still working to locate a hit-and-run driver who allegedly killed a pedestrian in Las Vegas, close to the area of Spring Valley, on Tuesday evening, May 3.

Official reports indicated that the incident took place at 8:45 p.m. on Decatur Boulevard, just south of Harmon Avenue. The pedestrian, who has not yet been identified, was reportedly crossing Decatur when they were struck by a vehicle traveling northbound through the area. A witness to the deadly accident said that the suspect vehicle was a gray Dodge or Ramp pickup truck.

First responders arrived at the scene and attempted life-saving treatment on the victim, but they succumbed to their injuries before they could be taken to a hospital.

Anyone with additional information that could help officers apprehend the suspect driver is asked to contact the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Collision Investigation Section as soon as possible.
