Las Vegas, NV (May 7, 2022) – Las Vegas Metro Police Department authorities reported a semi-truck accident that resulted in injuries on Saturday morning, May 7, and took place near Henderson.

Three lanes of the Boulder Highway at the Russell Road exit were shut down as a result of the crash, with stop-and-go traffic causing delays that lasted for two or three miles. LVMPD officers reported to the scene around 8:45 a.m., though they didn’t specify the number of vehicles that collided or the total number of victims who suffered injuries.

EMS units apparently transferred one person to an area hospital, however. Officials are conducting an active investigation at this time and have not made any other information publicly available.
