Las Vegas, NV (January 13, 2022) – Authorities with the Clark County Coroner’s Office have identified two more victims who died in a wrong-way crash in the Las Vegas Valley on Monday evening, January 10.

The two victims, both men from California, were identified as 39-year-old Shahriar Khodadadi and 59-year-old Enrique Ruiz. Official rulings on the cause and manner of death for the victims are still pending, however.

The coroner’s office previously identified 37-year-old Erica Morell, of Henderson, who died from blunt force trauma. A fourth person who died in the wreck remains unidentified.

The incident was initially reported on southbound I-15 near mile marker 20 around 6:00 p.m. Per reports from the Nevada Highway Patrol, the driver of a red Cadillac was heading north on the southbound side of the highway when they crashed head-on into a Toyota pickup truck.

The Toyota caught fire, and all three occupants inside were pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the Cadillac died at the scene as well.

The investigation remains active, and police have not said which vehicles the victims were traveling in.
