Fatalities Reported in Las Vegas Pedestrian Wrecks

Las Vegas, NV - Victim Hit & Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Maryland Pkwy at Reno AveAccording to official statements, the Nevada Department of Transportation’s preliminary state numbers indicates that 2021 was the grimmest year for deadly or injury-causing car accidents in the Silver State since 2006. In fact, by the end of December, roughly 395 individuals had died on Nevada’s streets, signifying a more than 20% increase over the previous year.

Around 255 people were killed in and around Clark County, where the situation was even direr. Unfortunately, excessive speed and driving impairment were the major causes of these deadly events, especially when pedestrians were involved.

Pedestrian fatalities are also climbing throughout the state, with over 75 individuals dying in 2021 alone. When a victim is hit by an irresponsible motorist, they are at a far higher risk of suffering significant, life-threatening injuries or even death.
