North Las Vegas, NV (February 12, 2022) – Officers with the North Las Vegas Police Department say that a bicyclist has died after he was hit by a car on Friday morning, February 11.

Officers responded to northbound Simmons Street near Craig Road around 6:00 a.m. as a result of the incident. The cyclist, identified as a man in his 40s, was rushed to the hospital but later pronounced dead at UMC. The driver of the car stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.

No other details were immediately available, though the investigation is ongoing.
