Pedestrian Deaths in North Las Vegas

North Las Vegas, NV - Man Found Dead After Pedestrian Accident at Fuselier Dr & Jubilance Pt CtAccording to the Nevada Department of Transportation, 2021 will be the worst year for fatal and nonfatal automobile accidents in the Silver State since 2005. In reality, there were approximately 370 traffic deaths in Nevada by the end of December the previous year, representing a 24 percent or more increase over the previous year. In addition, over 250 individuals died in Clark County, where the trend was significantly worse.

Unfortunately, driving under the influence and excessive speed were the leading causes of these deadly collisions, especially those involving pedestrians. Because of an upsurge in pedestrian deaths throughout the state, the final total and statistics for 2021 may show that up to 80 people died by the end of the year. Distracted drivers, such as those who are texting, talking on the phone, or changing the radio, are much more likely to cause death or injury. These incidents may cause victims significant, long-term physical and emotional suffering. Even if victims recover entirely, they may face quickly mounting medical expenditures, missed income and future earnings, and other costs.
