Reno, NV (April 12, 2022) – A head-on car accident involving three vehicles slowed traffic on Mt. Rose Highway near the ski resort Monday morning, April 11, and left at least one person hurt.

Troopers with the Nevada State Police said one vehicle crossed the center line and hit another car head-on. A third car, reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed, then hit one of the first two vehicles.

EMS units responded shortly after the incident occurred and transported at least one person to an area medical center. The total number of victims with injuries is unknown, however.

The crash remains under investigation at this time, and more information is slated to be released in the coming days.
