Sparks, NV (July 19, 2022) – On Tuesday, July 19, an unnamed rider was injured in a motorcycle accident on Greg Street.

The collision occurred on Greg Street just west of Stanford Way in the afternoon. A police report states that a suburban carrying a cargo trailer attempted to exit a driveway on the north side of Greg Street, performed a U-turn, and then turned into the path of an eastbound motorbike. The motorcyclist was unable to dodge the trailer and crashed under it.

The motorcycle rider was rescued by responding paramedics and sent to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. In the meanwhile, the Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP) indicated that it is still unknown if drugs or alcohol had a part in the event, but that an investigation is ongoing.
