Henderson, NV (May 17, 2022) – The Henderson Police Department is currently conducting an investigation into an accident that took place in the Henderson area in the late morning on Tuesday, May 17, and resulted in injuries to at least one person.
There was a collision in the left lanes of the westbound 215 Southern Beltway at Exit 5 to Green Vly Parkway at approximately 11:20 a.m. in the morning. The first reports indicate that two automobiles collided when traffic was beginning to slow down, and one of the injured parties was taken to a local medical facility by ambulance. However, the number of people who were hurt as a consequence of the wreck is not yet known.
The HPD is asking anybody, namely bystanders and witnesses, who may have more information to get in contact with them as soon as possible. The circumstances immediately before this incident are still being pieced together by investigators.
We are hoping that everyone who was injured in this incident makes a quick recovery.
Injuries Caused By Nevada Rear-End Collisions
The most recent numbers that have been collected by traffic researchers and authorities in the state of Nevada indicate that the Las Vegas Metro Police responded to almost half of the total number of accidents that were recorded in the state, which came to an astoundingly high figure of approximately 51,670. If we break this number down by day, we find that there are around 59 to 60 multiple-driver accidents that take place every single day in the broader Las Vegas region.
In addition, although the number of collisions that occurred in Clark County decreased to around 58 in 2021 from approximately 70 the previous year, this rate was still much greater than in 2020. Regrettably, the victims of these tragic accidents often have to contend with significant challenges related to their finances, ongoing health issues, and the lingering memories and stress brought on by these crashes.
In the case that a loved one passes away, the surviving members of that person’s family may find themselves in an extremely tenuous position. They may have to deal with the excessive costs of medical bills and funerary or burial expenses, which have a tendency to build over time. The significant emotional anguish that has already been triggered by the devastating events that have taken place is only made worse as a result.
On the other hand, if you or a member of your family has been harmed by an accident that has happened as a result of another driver’s negligence, you may be eligible for financial compensation. You should make it a priority to seek the guidance of a skilled personal injury attorney in Las Vegas as soon as possible in order to investigate the many different legal options that are open to you.
