Henderson, NV (March 17, 2022) – Troopers with the Nevada Highway Patrol are investigating a serious accident that shut down a portion of southbound Gibson Road on Thursday morning, March 17.

Around 11:00 a.m., the NHP and the City of Henderson Police, as well as local fire departments, responded to the crash, which involved at least two vehicles colliding in the right lanes of Gibson under I-215. Police say one person was taken to an area hospital, though their current condition is unknown. The total number of victims involved, as well as the extent of their injuries, is also unclear.

Police are still working to piece together the events leading up to the collision. The investigation remains ongoing at this time.
