Henderson, NV (March 7, 2022) – A serious two-vehicle accident in which both cars caught fire shut down several lanes at Eastern Avenue and St. Rose Parkway in the south valley on Monday morning, March 7.

Henderson Police Department officers say the incident was reported around 4:30 a.m. Upon arrival at the scene, police discovered two cars collided in the intersection. Medics rushed one person to an area hospital via ambulance in critical condition.

No other details on the wreck were immediately available, though police said speed and impairment are not believed to be factors at this time. All portions of the intersection were closed into the late morning but have since reopened.
