Las Vegas, NV – Deadly Motorcycle Accident at Eastern & Reno Aves Under Investigation

Las Vegas, NV (October 12, 2022) – The Las Vegas Metro Police Department is looking into a fatal motorcycle accident that occurred in the east valley on Wednesday afternoon, October 12.

It took place on Wednesday at about 4:20 pm local time, on Eastern Avenue just north of Reno Avenue.

Investigators have concluded that the motorcyclist was traveling south on Eastern in the far right turn lane before the accident. It was reported to the police that a 2009 Mercury Milan driver had failed to give the right of way at that time, turning left in front of the motorcycle rider and allegedly causing the accident.

Following the collision, the rider, a 32-year-old male, was rushed to Sunrise Hospital but later pronounced deceased.

Police said that despite suffering minor injuries, the driver of the car stayed at the site and passed a field sobriety test. Officers are still investigating, however, and have not provided further details.

Our deepest condolences are extended to the deceased victim’s family at this time.
