Las Vegas, NV – Injuries Reported in Car Accident on S Maryland Pkwy at Karen Ave

Las Vegas, NV (December 5, 2021) – An auto accident reported in the Las Vegas area on Sunday afternoon, December 5, resulted in an unknown number of injuries.

At around 2:30 p.m., officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, along with emergency medical services, responded to the scene of the accident. Officers say the incident occurred at the intersection of South Maryland Parkway and Karen Avenue.

Initial reports from the LVMPD indicated that the collision involved two passenger vehicles that collided in an apparent rear-end wreck.

EMS personnel transported at least one person to a local medical center, though the total number of injured victims and the extent of their injuries remain unclear. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the police.
