Las Vegas, NV (August 25, 2022) – On the morning of Thursday, August 25, multiple vehicles were involved in a collision on Interstate 15 near Sahara Avenue. Two people were reportedly harmed in the collision.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and the Nevada Highway Patrol report at least two injuries and miles of backed-up traffic. A short time later, at 11:55 a.m., police reported that two people had been transferred to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries. The report did not reveal which hospital they were sent to or provide any updates on their status. Police have issued a caution to other drivers to stay away from the area.

No further information regarding the victims or the events leading up to the incident has emerged, while the inquiry is still ongoing.
