Las Vegas, NV (January 31, 2022) – Several vehicles were involved in a crash that occurred Monday evening, January 31, backing up traffic on Fort Apache Road and resulting in injuries.

Nevada Highway Patrol troopers, along with Las Vegas Metro Police Department officers, responded around 9:15 p.m. and say the area around Red Hills Road was closed as crews worked the scene. Rescue units confirmed heavy traffic backups were persisting over an hour after the crash was first reported, though the area was cleared later that evening.

Medics treated at least one victim for injuries, but their current condition remains unknown. Police are still investigating the cause of the collision at this time.
