Vehicle Accident Fatalities Caused By DUI in Las Vegas
According to information released by Nevada state authorities, the majority of fatal accidents in the most recent year were caused by intoxicated or impaired drivers. Unfortunately, a 14-year high of over 500 DUI-related fatalities occurred on Nevada’s roadways last year, a number that represents a tragedy.
In addition, accident rates soared last spring, while deaths increased by close to 130%. Moreover, compared to the same time period in 2020, the number of deadly vehicle accidents in Nevada has doubled in the last year. During this time span, over 30 crashes happened throughout the state, resulting in almost 40 deaths. Clearly, fatal automobile accidents are far too common in Nevada.
