Las Vegas, NV (June 26, 2022) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is now conducting an investigation into an accident that happened on June 26, Sunday, in the early evening.
A multiple-vehicle collision happened on southbound U.S. Route 95 before Exit 73 and Eastern Avenue at about 6:50 p.m. on Sunday, causing approximately one mile of stop-and-go traffic. Apparently, at least two cars were nearing the exit when the leading driver slowed down, causing a rear-end incident. One of the wounded victims was later transferred to a neighboring hospital by ambulance. The victim’s current condition has not been disclosed by medical personnel or emergency services, and the total number of victims remains unclear.
Authorities are still seeking to identify exactly what transpired before the accident, but no more specific information has been made public.
All of today’s accident victims are in our thoughts, and we wish them all a swift and complete recovery.
