Las Vegas, NV (November 25, 2021) – Officers with the Las Vegas Metro Police Department are investigating a fire that occurred on Thursday morning, November 25.

According to police and fire rescue authorities, the incident happened at a commercial building on Lake Mead Boulevard near H Street, resulting in the closure of both the eastbound and westbound lanes in the area.

News footage showed multiple rescue vehicles and firefighters at the scene around 9:00 a.m., and it appears that EMS units transported at least one person to the hospital. Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze in a couple of hours.

Officers say their investigation is ongoing, however, and have not released further details about those involved.
