Las Vegas, NV (November 17, 2021) – Troopers with the Nevada Highway Patrol are investigating a deadly auto-pedestrian wreck that left a 16-year-old boy dead on Tuesday evening, November 16.

Witnesses said the teenager was on his scooter around 10:00 p.m. at Boulder Highway and Indios Avenue when he was hit by a bus.

The accident happened about a mile from where the Wal-Mart Supercenter, where the teen worked. According to his family, he had just left work and was on his way to get food before going home.

Police reported the driver of the bus that hit the teen stayed on the scene to cooperate with investigators and didn’t show any signs of impairment.

It’s unclear if citations or charges are yet to be filed. The investigation is ongoing, however, and further details have not been released.
