Las Vegas, NV (February 20, 2022) – Three people were hospitalized, two with life-threatening injuries, after a crash that happened Sunday evening, February 20, near downtown Las Vegas.

Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Sahara Avenue and South Maryland Parkway after receiving reports of a multi-vehicle collision, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Lt. Brian Boxler said.

Three people were transported to a nearby hospital, with two suffering major, life-threatening injuries, Boxler added. Sahara Avenue remained closed in both directions while officers investigated.

No further details have been provided, however, and police are still investigating at this time.
