Las Vegas, NV (September 21, 2022) – There was a serious collision on Wednesday morning, September 21, on I-15 in the Las Vegas area, causing authorities to close down a stretch of highway.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officers and an ambulance came shortly after. At around 11:40 a.m., police and other emergency officials arrived on the scene. Surveillance cameras recorded the scene, which appeared to show a smaller box truck or freight vehicle near the Flamingo Road exit and a damaged SUV.

No official word has been issued on casualties or identifying victims, and it’s unclear whether further vehicles were involved. Law enforcement in Las Vegas is trying to track any eyewitnesses to Wednesday’s crash and has not provided additional information.
