Severe Injuries Caused by Las Vegas Car Crashes
According to estimates by the Nevada Department of Transportation, traffic-related fatalities and injuries in the state are likely to rise in 2021. After reaching its highest point in 2005, 2021 is expected to fare horribly. The total number of deaths on Nevada’s roads increased to 370 in 2017 from 280 in 2016. This is an almost 30% increase from the previous year. In Clark County, where this awful tendency has unfortunately been on the rise, over 250 people have lost their lives in accidents involving pedestrians. Accidents of this nature were exacerbated by both drunk driving and reckless speeding. These accidents likely caused serious injuries or maybe death to the people involved.
According to projections made by state officials, as many as ninety pedestrians may be murdered in the state by the end of 2021. Pedestrian accidents are significantly more likely to occur when drivers are distracted. This category includes pursuits such as texting, talking on the phone, and tinkering with the radio. But it becomes even worse since disaster victims have to endure unending emotional suffering, physical harm, and astronomical monetary costs.
