Las Vegas, NV – Two Hospitalized in UTV Accident at Bruce St & Ann Rd

Las Vegas, NV (December 25, 2021) – On Friday evening, December 24, a man and a woman both suffered serious injuries following a rollover crash involving a UTV in Northern Las Vegas.

As per the initial reports from the scene, officers responded to the area of Bruce Street and Ann Road at about 8:45 p.m. Police had received a dispatch describing a single-vehicle accident at the intersection.

Upon arrival, police discovered that the driver of a UTV, also known as an ATV, was riding with three passengers and failed to maintain control of the vehicle, causing the crash.

Paramedics rushed one victim, a woman in her 20s, to UMC in serious condition. One of her arms was later amputated at the hospital. A man was also taken to the hospital with serious but non-fatal injuries. Both the victims taken to a hospital were passengers on the utility vehicle.

Impairment is not suspected in the incident, but the driver of the UTV was detained on suspicion of reckless driving. No further details have been made available at this time.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families in hopes of a full recovery.
