Las Vegas, NV (January 11, 2022) – North Las Vegas Fire Department rescue units responded to a garage fire that broke out at a home on the north side of the valley Monday afternoon, January 10.

Per reports from authorities, the incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. at home near Alexander Road and Commerce Street. The initial call routed from dispatchers indicated that people were trapped inside.

When fire crews arrived, they discovered that all residents were able to escape on their own. One victim was transported to the hospital by ambulance for treatment for smoke inhalation, however.

The investigation into the cause of the blaze is ongoing, and it’s unclear if anybody was displaced by the fire.
